COUNTRYFEST THANK YOU AND RTD REVIEW

Thank you to everyone that attended this year's CountryFest! We had a great time and hope you did too!

Here are highlights from the Richmond Times-Dispatch review of the show:

Richmond's own Marna & Macy got the party started with a 45-minute set of mostly original tunes. The energetic mother (Marna) and daughter (Macy) duo is trying to make its mark outside of central Virginia with a mix of electric guitar-driven, rocking country ditties and an occasional melodramatic ballad. And clever tunes such as "Boys Will be Boys," "Queen of the Neighborhood" and the Martina McBride-like "Next Time" will fit in just fine with the cuts that you'll hear on this week's Top 40 country countdown.

RICHMOND TIMES-DISPATCH REVIEW OF M&M OPENER FOR KELLIE PICKLER AT TOAD'S PLACE

Review Highlights: <> Marna Bales and Macy Kaczmarek, the local mother and daughter duo who go by their first names, proved worthy openers for Pickler. Their taut, polished country -- augmented by a five-piece band -- was as agreeable and catchy as anything else currently on country radio. <> "Hey Hey Baby" and the spunky "Queen of the Neighborhood" zipped with electricity, particularly when the pair harmonized....the lovely ladies performed a punchy take on The Eagles' "Heartache Tonight." <> Those who came for the star power got Pickler. Those who came for some meaty singing got these two.

MARNA & MACY PERFORM AT VIRGINIA'S ROYAL WELCOME

Performing for the Queen of England on May 3rd was truly a wonderful experience. Our band, the "Boys of Dogtown" went above and beyond as the band for all the artists that day. We were so honored to be part of such an historic day. We have heard from people all around the country and as far as Australia that saw us on live worldwide coverage of the event. The Queen told one of the Governor's staff that her favorite part of her trip to Richmond was "the music." Yeah!!
